By accessing or using FlashDeck.AI ("FlashDeck", "the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian to use the Service. If you are registering on behalf of a school or institution, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You may not create more than one free account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is a violation of these Terms and may result in all accounts being suspended.
You agree to use FlashDeck only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
FlashDeck offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at the time of purchase. Current pricing is displayed at www.flashdeck.ai/#pricing.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the start of each billing period. All prices are shown in USD; local currency equivalents may be displayed for reference.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to Premium features until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Premium subscribers. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your first paid subscription, contact us at hello@flashdeck.ai for a full refund. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
The free tier of FlashDeck allows users to generate up to 100 flashcards per month. Once this limit is reached, you will be prompted to upgrade to a Premium subscription to continue generating new cards. You may continue to study previously generated cards on the free tier without restriction.
We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits at any time, with reasonable notice to existing users.
The FlashDeck platform, including its design, code, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by FlashDeck.AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.
Flashcards generated through FlashDeck using your topic inputs are provided for your personal educational use. You retain the right to use, study, and share these cards for non-commercial, personal revision purposes. You may not sell, license, or commercially redistribute AI-generated flashcard content from FlashDeck.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use that feedback to improve the platform.
FlashDeck uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate flashcard content. You acknowledge and agree that:
Important: FlashDeck is a revision tool, not a substitute for your official course materials. Always cross-reference with your school's resources and official exam board specifications.
Schools, colleges, and tuition centres ("Institutions") may access FlashDeck under a school subscription or pilot programme. By registering an institutional account, the Institution agrees that:
Pilot accounts are provided free of charge for a defined period (typically 6 weeks) and are subject to the same Terms as paid accounts. At the end of the pilot period, the Institution may upgrade to a paid plan or the account will be deactivated.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that causes harm to others or to the platform. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Any flashcard data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlashDeck.AI makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FlashDeck.AI's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to FlashDeck.AI in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £50.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of educational opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by this clause.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
